About Us

The Rocky Hill Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents and teachers who are committed to children and want to help them have the best elementary school experience possible.
 
Our purpose is:
  • To build the Rocky Hill Elementary community
  • To support teacher and classroom needs
 
How are PTO Funds used?
Every year, the PTO allocates funds for teachers to be use at their discretion.
  • $150 per teacher for classroom needs.
  • $200 per grade level for enrichment.
 
Annually, special projects are identified by the administration and PTO board of directors. Completed special projects over the past 3 years include:
  • Adding resources to Rocky Hill's special areas: music, library, art & physical education.
  • Providing ActiveBoards and multiple computers for every classroom
  • Improving the playground and outdoor campus.
